攻める（懸かる）ことばかりに専念しても、備える（待つ）ことばかりに専念しても隙が生じてしまいます。だから、旺盛な気力とともに、懸かるところに待つ心、待つところに懸かる心がなければならないということです。「懸中待(けんちゅうたい)」「待中懸」ともいいます。簡単に言えば「攻防一致」といってもいいでしょう。　
これをやるには、腰がしっかり入っていることが大事ですね。腰がしっかりと入った状態で攻めているからこそできることですね！
